In METSA, our grades are broken down into 6 different categories, and collaboration happens to be one of them. In order to accurately show my ability to collaborate, I have a snapshot of my own collaboration grade. I also included pictures of me collaborating in a group and using Google Docs- one of the many programs that we use to share information and documents among our group and also discuss and work together even though we aren't together in person.

In METSA, our grades are based off of our learning outcomes one of which is collaboration.

Collaboration often requires meeting with team members outside of school to complete project work.

Collaboration plays an important role in our daily lives in METSA. Collaboration is our ability to be an effective collaborator by working with others on a variety of projects. In METSA, we work as a group in almost all of our projects in order to complete the task at hand. At first, I can honestly say that I was not that great at collaboration and was often scared to voice my opinion, share my thoughts, or ask others what they were thinking, what they wanted to do, etc., but as time went on during my freshmen year, I quickly realized that in order to not only better myself, but also my grade, I had to snap out of it. I quickly grew into the "brave" person that I am today; I can be in a group with just about anyone and openly discuss my true feelings, give insight, constructive criticism, and share everything that I’m thinking about with my fellow group members in order to better our project experience.
